8Summary:
This CT Tech is responsible for performing quality CT Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. This position is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity seen by our CT staff range from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.
Education:
Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology.
CT Registry required upon hire.
Minimum of 1-year Pediatric CT experience preferred.
Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy.
Good interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress.
Certification/Licensure:
Must be ARRT registered.
Must be ARRT (CT) registered, or obtain ARRT (CT) certification within 18 months of hire.
Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
BLS Certified.
