We're looking for an exceptional leader to manage our forthcoming Naperville Location Dream Team coming Fall/Winter 2022
Summary of Position:
Oversee & coordinate the day to day operations of your store which includes planning, organizing, & leading your team to achieve goals in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service & satisfaction, cookie quality, cleanliness & sanitation.
This is a full time, salaried position that requires 40 - 45 of work hours per week. Salaried store managers are required to clock in & clock out to track hours worked. Occasionally, additional overtime may be required due to holidays, staffing shortages or business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all cookies & ingredients meet quality & consistency standards set forth by Cookies & Dreams.
- Understand & implement Cookies & Dreams policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines & training programs.
- Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial & professional development.
- Train & develop new employees and assistant managers
- Make employment & termination decisions.
- Oversee the execution of weekly, monthly & annual budgets.
- Monitor store financial reports & adjust labor or food cost decisions accordingly with support from Cookies & Dreams HQ
- Maintain a high level of communication with staff members.
- Be knowledgeable of bakery & store policies regarding personnel & administer prompt, fair, & consistent corrective action for any & all violations of company policies, rules, & procedures.
- Understand & comply with all federal, state, county, & municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, & labor requirements
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome & are given responsive, friendly & courteous service at all times.
- Ensure that all cookies are consistently prepared & served according to the recipes, portioning, baking, & serving standards set forth by Cookies & Dreams.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility & sanitation & cleanliness through training of employees & creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Control cash & other receipts by adhering to cash handling & reconciliation procedures in accordance with Cookies & Dreams policies & procedures.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean & in excellent working condition through personal inspection & enforcement of cleaning & safety procedures.
- Ensure that all ingredients and products that are ordered are received in correct unit count & condition.
- Schedule labor in accordance with anticipated business flow while ensuring that all positions are staffed.
