As a Product Owner at Cooler Screens, you will provide a direct impact on building a new digital in-store shopper experience that enables new retail merchandising and brand advertising capabilities. In addition, you will work with engineering team members to drive software delivery while working within our product team to understand what needs to get built.
Who You Are
- You’re experienced in the ways of an Agile Product Owner and are very familiar with organizing work intake for a delivery team.
- You understand how to solve key business problems through technology. You can translate product strategies and detailed inputs to create a sprint backlog full of vetted user stories.
- You’re comfortable communicating delivery status and details to different audiences, such as senior leadership and peers.
- You’re effective at partnering across teams to gain alignment to prioritize what needs to get done.
What You’ll Do
- Lead an agile product team (POD) focused on Consumer and Retail products
- Build, groom, and maintain a product backlog based on company priorities
- Define fully vetted user stories ready to be pulled from the product backlog for development
- Prioritize and plan user stories to work on in upcoming sprints
- Facilitate sprint activities to drive a smooth delivery cadence with the delivery team
- Keep the delivery team organized, on track, and focused on what matters
- Maintain delivery momentum by addressing questions and helping resolve blockers
- Organize and communicate product delivery plans with business partners
What You Need to Succeed
- Proven collaboration skills working with business and technical teams
- At least three (3) years of experience as a software delivery-focused Product Owner (or equivalent responsibilities) in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to organize work with Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards
- Succinct, effective communication skills through various channels (Microsoft Teams, Email, Conference Calls, Face-to-Face)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and comfortable working in a high-growth company
- You have a growth mindset and are a self-starter to
