In consultation with physician leaders in the Center for Healing, the Director of Grants and Research will lead and oversee all grants and research activities within the Center for Healing including ensuring that all program and grant deliverables are met in a timely and efficient manner. The Director will support the Medical Director of Research in setting the research agenda. The Director will oversee all administrative and programmatic aspects of grants and research projects, including identifying and responding to requests for funding, developing program and study timelines, developing budgets, performance measures and metrics, tools and protocols and data collection processes, as well as implementing project activities, monitoring project activities, and reporting on progress to internal and external stakeholders. The Director will liaise with funders, external partner agencies and departments with Cooper University Health Care including Finance and Government Relations.
Oversee reporting to funders and stakeholders ensuring all program and grant deliverables are met in a timely and efficient manner
Set and track budgets, reporting metrics, progress, and deadlines
Collaborate with clinical leaders and internal and external stakeholders to accomplish project goals
Contribute and lead scientific and program grant reports, grant applications and deliverables, and human subjects regulatory compliance
Represent at meetings, trainings, and conferences
Evaluate progress towards meeting program, grant, and scientific objectives
Generate ideas for research-focused grant proposals, oversee grant submissions with other leaders
Provide leadership and mentorship to the grants and research team
Assist with special projects, events and other duties as assigned
