Rock Crusher Laborer

Copenhaver Construction, Inc. is a heavy civil site-work and rock crushing contractor looking for competent laborers with an eagerness to work and a good attitude. We need quality people who are looking to be a part of a great growing team. Potential employees must have a strong work ethic and willing to work 12-hour shifts either day or night. Equipment operating such as haul truck may be available depending on skill and experience, however this position is based on general labor.

Required Duties & Responsibilities:
-Show up for work on time and consistently and stay for the duration of the shift
-Safely & skillfully operates excavator, loader, dozer, haul truck, and/or other related construction equipment
-Works on the ground with crew when not operating equipment
-Perform minor service & repair to equipment
-Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline works flows, and work cooperatively to provide great customer service
-Complete daily tasks and notes as needed
-Responds to emergency or abnormal facility situations outside of normal work shift.
-Performs other duties assigned

Required Job Skills:

-Knowledge of materials used in system construction and repair
-Knowledge of hazards & applicable safety rules and precautions in equipment operations
-Skill in the use and care of tools and mechanical equipment
-Ability to work independently and with others as needed
-Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions
-Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with coworkers, subcontractors, and clients

-Ability to come to work with a good attitude and willing to take direction
