What are the responsibilities and job description for the Framing Carpenter position at Core 3?
We are looking to hire a Framing Carpenter to join our team. Responsibilities include using levels to ensure that structures are exactly vertical or horizontal, constructing window and door frames as well as staircases and flooring, and installing temporary supports for structures as required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately measuring, cutting wood and other building materials.
- Attaching building materials using screws and air nailers.
- Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds.
- Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.
- Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Physical strength and stamina Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Driver's License with personal transportation
- The ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong organizational skills & Effective communication skills.
