Construction Estimator

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and estimating, with the ability to negotiate prices effectively. If you have experience in heavy bidding, project management, and cost control, we want to hear from you. Duties: - Prepare accurate and timely estimates for construction projects - Analyze project plans and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirements - Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing - Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating purposes - Create detailed cost proposals and bid packages - Review and interpret contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process - Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures without compromising quality Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred - Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or industrial projects - Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective working relationships - Knowledge of project management principles and practices - Familiarity with cost control methods and techniques If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction estimating and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,780.00 - $81,876.00 per year
