Our client in Millville, NJ has an immediate need for a Network Administrator.
Job Description
The Systems Administrator will install, configure, and support server infrastructure, local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), internet connectivity, and other systems. Additionally, they will monitor, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems and perform equipment and software maintenance as scheduled. Performing documentation of maintenance and system functions is essential in this role.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of Cisco networks and security products is essential. Understanding of network switching and routing concepts is required. VoIP experience is highly desired. CCNA or similar certifications are preferred. A combination of education and experience within the field of computer network systems, such as a Bachelor’s and three years of experience, an Associate’s and five years of experience or similar will be considered. Experience in an education setting is a plus.
