Bourbon County Core Community is a non-profit organization committed to solving poverty in Bourbon County. Poverty often manifests as a web of barriers—financial, educational, emotional, and social are some examples. Bourbon County Core Community works diligently to assist individuals to dismantle these obstacles, allowing families to break free from the cycle of poverty.

Duties:
- Serve as a liaison between the community and our organization
- Educate community members about poverty and the struggles local families face because of poverty.
- Raise the funds needed for the annual budget by meeting with organizations, businesses and individuals in the community to secure funding.
- Work closely with the program making sure the Advisory Board has all financial reports in a timely manner.
- Conduct public speaking engagements to raise awareness about poverty and the issues it causes.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the program.
- Assist in volunteer recruitment.

Requirements:
- Experience in fundraising or budgets preferred but no required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively educate and engage with diverse populations
- Knowledge of community resources and services
- Public speaking skills and ability to present information clearly and confidently

- Must be available Monday evenings
