JOB DESCRIPTION
To manage, maintain, and support the Modern Workplace implementation and ongoing support initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Configuration and maintenance of policies, settings, and packages within the 365 ecosystems
- Administrator of O365 and Exchange Online
- Experienced in Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, group policies, user profiles within Windows environment.
- Azure Administration tools SSO and Federation of the configuration of applications to make use of Azure/Active Directory Services, Directory services replication/synchronization, Kerberos, Active Directory
- Compliance for Schema Extensions, DEA (Directory Enabled Applications), SMTP Query management, LDAPS, AD integration security, federation services, and Forest system context management for application
- services.
- Demonstrates commitment to organization's policy framework and practices continuous improvement.
- Ability to automate processes using major scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell and Python
- Responsible for defining and managing endpoint profiles throughout the enterprise from design to deployment and steady state.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the end user computing environment.
- Function as the primary resource for endpoint hardware configuration, software deployment, and security/patch maintenance policy
- Help to automate and build Software Packages for Autopilot / Intune deployment.
- Design, test, and deploy secure base images for enterprise use.
- Package, test, and deploy applications in various forms to various business units.
- Maintain device collection health and automation.
- Create technical documents of implementations, break-fix solutions, etc.
- Assists in creating materials for end-user frequently asked questions (FAQs)
- Work autonomously or within a diverse team of professionals.
- Work directly with the service desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
- Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.
Technical Knowledge
- Microsoft Office 365 technical subject matter expert to include expert level understanding of Azure, Azure AD, Enterprise Mobility Security, Intune, Exchange etc.
- Expert knowledge of major Microsoft cloud-based back-office systems including Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, Security & Compliance, ATP, Intune, Autopilot, Teams, etc
- Advance knowledge of: Windows10; PowerShell and IAM
- Expertise in troubleshooting for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS operating systems
Experience
- Excellent communication skills and customer service attitude
- Excellent Communication skills; both oral and written
- Have efficient time management, attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with security protocols such as LDAP/LDAPS, SAML, WS-Federation,
and OAuth
