Position Purpose:
As the Receiving Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the safety, productivity and efficiency of warehouse operations. You will be supervising employees and monitoring operational flow to create a culture of safety and family while providing to the customer experience. A successful candidate will have effectively demonstrated an ability to supervise, lead, and communicate effectively to multiple warehouse employees. This individual should possess strong attention to detail, dedication to safety, and a drive to provide quality in their work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
2 -4 years of warehouse supervisor or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or 4 year degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
2 to 4 years of experience supervising multiple employees.
Intermediate knowledge of warehouse management systems, email systems, and Microsoft Office (word, Excel, etc.)
Certification to operate power material handling equipment (Walkie, Reach, Dock Stocker etc)
Ability to perform administrative work including: data entry and paperwork processing.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to disperse information to the company and across the warehouse.
Ability to analyze data, review the operations information, and make suggested changes to improve operational performances.
Ability to learn and use electronic warehouse management software.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Verify received goods against purchase orders or invoices, checking for accuracy in quantity and quality.
- Coordinate the inspection of received items for damage or discrepancies, and initiate claims for damaged goods or incorrect shipments.
- Manage the organization and storage of inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored in their designated areas for easy retrieval.
- Implement and maintain receiving procedures and standards to improve efficiency and accuracy in the receiving department.
- Schedule and assign tasks to receiving personnel, monitoring performance to ensure compliance with operational procedures.
- Facilitate the return of defective or unsatisfactory goods to suppliers, coordinating with the purchasing department for replacements or refunds.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of all receiving activities, including inventory levels, discrepancies, and damages, for audit purposes and decision-making.
