Core One is seeking an SOF Logistics SME (MDLOC) to support our MARSOC customer. This position requires a Secret clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Assistant Course Director for the Multi-Discipline Logistics Operations Course (MDLOC)
- Serves as the liaison between the course planning team and relevant staff sections within each MARSOC major subordinate elements and staff sections
- Liaise with external agencies to include joint and multinational logistics forces, US government logistics departments and agencies, Non-Governmental Organizations, private sector entities, federally funded and sponsored academia, local trade schools, and other organizations
- Assist in scaling MDLOC to grow capability and capacity
- Support the course planning team with appropriate briefs relating to current SOF Logistics TTPs and T&R standards approved by HHQ
- Produces all course calling messages, confirmation briefs, consolidates and organizes course rosters, and other required administrative work related to course execution
- Assists in the development of course curriculum and requirements (equipment/ personnel), periods of instruction (POI), and training schedules
- Plans and organizes initial, midway, and final planning conferences for course development
- Instructs classes as necessary
- Assists the MRSG T-Cell Logistics Planner SME as required in the development of scenario-based logistics training suited to evaluate the integration of logistics into a larger exercise in a SOF environment
Requirements:
- Must hold a Secret
- Previous military experience as an E7 or above
- Ten years of SOF logistics experience (recent experience within past five years) in either a Special Mission Unit (SMU); U.S. Army Special Forces; Navy SEALs; Marine Special Operations Command
- Three years experience providing logistics planning support for SOCOM exercises including requesting logistics support through the Air Support Requests (ASR) and requests for support (RFS) processes and strategic mobility planning, and embarkation
- Familiarity with course development
