SCOPE OF WORK
Applicant shall provide support to the drafting department. applicant is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing projects including follow-up as needed. individual shall be responsible for checking of drawings to ensure accuracy and conformity to contract documents. other activities as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Know CADD software to create technical drawings that include dimensions, procedures and required materials. Also uses views and angles to show the association between systems and components, often consulting co-workers regarding design and layouts.
2. Coordinates the collection of data and incorporates such information into drawings, maps, and schematics, while consulting with engineers, and other workers involved to prepare and present his drawings.
3. Takes care of complex drafting and designing assignments with little to no supervision and reviews drawings for accuracy and completeness. Also maintains all revisions of project drawings.
4. Creates drawings and models from verbal and written specifications that are obtained from the project engineer. Examines and checks engineering drawings to comply with cited specifications.
5. Incorporates data from surveys and reports to prepare drawings, as well as makes calculations for operations and supervision of technicians.
6. Works closely with engineers, designers, and other drafters to ensure the maintenance of coordination design efforts. Completes project responsibilities within scope, schedule, and budget.
7. Fluent understanding of Microsoft applications.
