Scope of Work
The Registered Nurse (RN) in our Cardiovascular Lab plays a critical role in providing high-quality patient care. Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, the RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. The RN works collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care, incorporating patient and family input and goals into the plan of care.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required within 5 years.
- Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 1 year.
- NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale is required within 90 days.
