Role Overview: The Certified Surgical Technician plays a crucial role in assisting surgeons during approved surgical operations. This position operates under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon, ensuring that all procedures are conducted safely and effectively.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Completion of a Surgical Tech First Assistant or Certified Surgical Assistant Program required
- Certification as a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) must be obtained within two years of completing the first assistant course
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant surgical assisting experience required
- Additional certifications preferred
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The typical work hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with on-call weekend responsibilities.
