- Ensure that clinical activities are performed in accordance with clinical guidelines, appropriate use criteria and Department policy
- Complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner consistent with hospital, payor and regulatory requirements
- Participate in required on-call and weekend coverage
- Participate in QI/QA and peer review initiatives
- Participate in activities related to improving operational and financial performance
- Participate in value based reimbursement programs and quality initiatives
- Attend Department meetings as required by hospital and Department policy
- Foster team work
- Serve as an ambassador, promoting continuous improvement, excellence and growth
- Participate in Departmental community service and fundraising endeavors
- Provide meaningful participation within the affiliated School of Medicine including, but not limited to, teaching and committee service
- Demonstrate proof of ongoing education in the area of expertise, including CME activity, Board certification and other learning endeavors
- Interpret diagnostic studies in accordance with institutional guidelines and national standards
