What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Support Technician position at Corin Group?
Corin is seeking an IT Technician to provide 1st line / 2nd Line IT support to Corin Users predominately in the US, but globally as and when required. The position will also involve some project work. The role will be based in our Raynham, US offices with some flexibility on working from home.
The key responsibilities of the IT Technician are to:
- Provide desktop and remote support for our US operation, to a variety of end user devices such as laptops, mobile phones, and tablets.
- Ability to effectively communicate with users at a range of technical abilities.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, hardware rotation, new builds, and purchasing.
- Ensure all issues and requests are logged and maintained on the ITIL standard Service Desk.
- Document solutions on the service desk and provide technical resources to end users for training and product roll-out
- Escalate issues to internal teams or third-party support providers
- Work with a global team as the local support for our US operations.
- Occasional travel between US sites may be required
- Provide out-of-hours support if required
- Provide cover and assistance to the rest of the IT Infrastructure / Support team
The ideal IT Technician will have/be
- Well-versed in break-fix methodology
- Microsoft Certifications desirable
- Customer Service focused
- Familiar with ITIL best practices
- Understanding of broader IT topics like hypervisors, NAS, and Networking
- Windows operating system advanced familiarity
- Office 365 & SaaS knowledge
- Familiarity with Intune and Autopilot deployment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
