Cornell University, a nationally ranked Ivy League institution, is looking for Major Gift Associate to join the College of Business team in Alumni Affairs & Development division in Ithaca, NY.
Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Development, the Major Gift Associate will be a strong persuasive and business writer with the ability to synthesize information to develop compelling fundraising materials. This position will work both independently and collaboratively with gift officers, program assistants and others in the Alumni Affairs and Development.
The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is comprised of three schools: The Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration (Nolan), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson). This role will draft correspondence for use by the President, Provost, Deans, Senior Administrators, and Trustees for a variety of purposes. In addition, will assist in executing stewardship activities for any prospect whose lifetime philanthropy to Cornell is $250k or more.
