Job Description
Responsible for performing and inspecting general cleaning functions. Each team leader will encourage, train, and evaluate each employee assigned to their job site. Must have general knowledge of technical floor cleaning processes. Dedicated to teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
1. Perform general cleaning duties including removal of garbage, sweeping and mopping floor surfaces, cleaning and sanitizing rest rooms, water fountains and shower rooms, dusting all open surfaces, vacuuming carpets and/or rugs, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, cleaning blinds, dusting vents and cobwebs.
2. Ensure each employee completes assigned jobs on a timely basis. Inspect all work completed and confirm a quality finish at your job site.
3. Respond to employee comments and behaviors (both positive and negative) by communicating to each employee in a professional manner and maintaining employee morale.
4. Encourage and provide training for each employee, i.e.: running various machinery, safe and correct usage of chemicals, timesaving techniques, quality assurance and proper job procedures.
5. Responsible for securing each job site upon completion of work. Keep each security card and code for each job site in a safe place and maintain customer confidentiality.
6. Must have general knowledge of technical floor processes and equipment.
7. Provide unbiased assistance in evaluating each employee, ensuring a correct assessment of the individual's performance.
8. Communicate supply inventory shortages to Quality Assurance Manager in a timely manner. Maintain all supplies and supply storage areas at each job site.
9. Perform proper care maintenance on cleaning equipment as needed, i.e.: change filters, wipe down machines, clean vacuum brushes and rollers. Must maintain an overall clean appearance on all equipment and supplies used. Refer to the procedure's manual for proper maintenance and cleaning instructions.
10. Provide janitorial back up for employee absences or vacations.
11. Responsible for collecting time sheets and verifying correct hours worked. Assist in collecting new hire paperwork and forwarding to Quality Assurance Manager or to office personnel.

Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions:

Usual janitorial environmental conditions to include chemical and cleaning solution fumes. Dust mask protection and protected eye ware may be required with some concentrated chemicals.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Proper use of concentrated chemicals and solutions to include correct dilution. Previous general cleaning work.
Must have VALID Driver's License with clean driving record.
Knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent job experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, quality assurance and good decision-making skills.
