What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auditor I position at Cornerstone Bank?

 
 
 

The Auditor I will assist the department manager with completing all internal department audits and FDICIA testing for Cornerstone Bank. Employees in this position excel with accuracy, attention to detail and contribute to the soundness of Cornerstone Bank operations.  This is a full-time position with the full Cornerstone Bank employee benefit package.  


JOB DUTIES:
Perform internal audits and FDICIA internal control testing. Maintain proper and complete set of work papers covering each audit and testing performed. Assist with follow-up procedures to ensure all audit exceptions are corrected in a timely manner. Prepare schedules and perform confirmation work for bank management, the bank’s external auditors and regulatory examiners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree is preferred with a preference in business or accounting. Banking, audit experience and knowledge of basic accounting practices is preferred.  Working knowledge of personal computers and the suite of Microsoft Office products.  Confidentiality and attention to detail are required.  Ability to interact effectively with customers, management and co-workers.  Ability to work in a team atmosphere and independently.  Will provide unmatched customer service and exhibit the core values of Cornerstone Bank.
