We are currently looking for a BSA/Compliance Analyst to join our team. This position reports directly to our AVP, Fraud & BSA Manager and is responsible for various tasks related to the Bank’s Compliance Management and BSA programs to ensure adherence with established policies and procedures. 


Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to employees and customers.

  • Conducts internal compliance monitoring bank-wide, including but not limited to lending, deposits and BSA.
  • Recommends additional training needs based on monitoring findings.
  • Conducts branch audits.
  • Assists the Compliance Department with compliance audits and exams (prepares documentation, gathers request items, etc).
  • Reviews daily fraud alerts and opens investigation cases, as necessary.
  • Prepares and submits CTRs daily.
  • Tracks the receipt and reviews accuracy of Certification of Beneficial Ownership forms.
  • Assists with managing compliance procedures
  • Acts as a resource for employees bank-wide on BSA, fraud, and compliance matters.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Able to use various office equipment including computer terminal; ability to utilize applicable software
  • Working knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet applications and strong knowledge of existing consumer protection regulations
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to read and comprehend governmental regulations and other instruction manuals
  • Ability to work independently and keep supervisor appropriately informed of issues and also possess the ability to work in a team environment

Education/Training/Experience

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, plus specialized course work and training related to regulatory compliance

Physical Requirements

The BSA/Compliance Analyst is in a non-confined office type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. 


The BSA/Compliance Analyst spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, and reaching.


The BSA/Compliance Analyst may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine (calculator), scanner, computer, printers and other equipment as directed.
