Responsibilities

The Payroll Coordinator will report directly to the Corporate Payroll Director and be responsible for the payroll functions for a portfolio of our hospitals.  Additional duties include ad hoc reporting for executive leadership and participation in the migration of data when acquiring new hospitals. 

  • Setting up new pay groups for acquisitions and new development.
  • Garnishment processing.
  • Coordination of bonus payment processing, as needed.
  • Understanding of the calculation of weighted OT calculations.
  • Payroll system upgrades and new product implementations.
  • Financial, 401K and Workers Comp audit participation.
  • Payroll billing and reports.
  • Work closely with accounting team to ensure proper GL coding.
  • Processing of off-cycle payrolls/manual checks.
  • Assist accounting team with reconciliation of payroll inquiries/discrepancies.
  • Work closely with HR team for timely processing of benefits, new hires, terminations and status change forms.

Qualifications


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of payroll experience, specifically experience with Paycom is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of systems security, multi-site payroll, shift differentials and miscellaneous pay rules.
  • Payroll experience in a healthcare setting HIGHLY desired. 
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • High level of confidentiality.
