Job Description:

Responsible for the global strategy, execution, and support of Corning’s capital management systems. This is a key role within Corning’s Capital Management Center of Excellence (Capricorn). This role requires strong collaboration with all Corning divisions and functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own digital vision and roadmap; establishes where are we should go and how to get there

• Collaborate with IT and our key vendor(s) to understand and influence future direction

• Partner with Capricorn Functional Leads (Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing) to advance digital capabilities:

o Recommend, design, configure, test, deploy and support

o Improve and simplify capital management systems, ensure maximum value, and translate needs and best practices into systems

o Ensure data integrity in capital systems

• Ensure compliance to Corning controls and IT requirements

• Provide “hands on” work to support and enhance capital systems Deliverables

• Systems roadmap & strategy for capital management tools

• Recommend new digital solutions

• Design, configure, train, deploy and support new systems and tools

• Ongoing systems care to ensure continued value for Corning

Education and Experience

• >10 years of experience

• 4-year technical degree

• Demonstrated leadership and experience in systems and processes

• Experienced in Project Management including resource management, scheduling, portfolio management, and systems implementations

• Coordination of system implementation across functions and divisions

Travel

• Occasional, <10% domestic and international

• Superior judgement in decision making, problem solving and conflict management

• Demonstrate dependability and sense of urgency

• Can think strategically and innovatively, but also willing to roll up sleeves and dive into work

• Clear communicator including training and presentation skills
