Job Description:
Responsible for the global strategy, execution, and support of Corning’s capital management systems. This is a key role within Corning’s Capital Management Center of Excellence (Capricorn). This role requires strong collaboration with all Corning divisions and functions.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Own digital vision and roadmap; establishes where are we should go and how to get there
- Collaborate with IT and our key vendor(s) to understand and influence future direction
- Partner with Capricorn Functional Leads (Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing) to advance digital capabilities:
o Recommend, design, configure, test, deploy and support
o Improve and simplify capital management systems, ensure maximum value, and translate needs and best practices into systems
o Ensure data integrity in capital systems
- Ensure compliance to Corning controls and IT requirements
- Provide “hands on” work to support and enhance capital systems Deliverables
- Systems roadmap & strategy for capital management tools
- Recommend new digital solutions
- Design, configure, train, deploy and support new systems and tools
- Ongoing systems care to ensure continued value for Corning
Education and Experience
- >10 years of experience
- 4-year technical degree
- Demonstrated leadership and experience in systems and processes
- Experienced in Project Management including resource management, scheduling, portfolio management, and systems implementations
- Coordination of system implementation across functions and divisions
Travel
- Occasional, <10% domestic and international
