Reports To: The Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer will report to Director of Centralized Applications
Job Overview: The Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, and support of Microsoft 365 products and services within an organization. They work with a variety of stakeholders, including end users, business leaders, and IT staff, to ensure that Microsoft 365 is meeting the needs of the organization. Senior Microsoft 365 Engineers have a deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 platform and are skilled in a variety of technologies, including cloud computing, security, and networking.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 environments. This includes planning and deploying new Microsoft 365 services, configuring settings, and troubleshooting issues.- Provide technical support to end users and IT staff. This includes answering questions about Microsoft 365 services and helping users to resolve problems.
- Configure and manage security and compliance settings. This includes setting permissions for users and groups, implementing security policies, and monitoring threats.
- Stay up to date on the latest Microsoft 365 technologies and features. This includes attending training courses, reading Microsoft documentation, and following Microsoft blogs and social media channels.
- Developing and implementing custom Microsoft 365 solutions. This may involve writing scripts or automating tasks.
- Working with IT professionals to integrate Microsoft 365 with other systems. This may include integrating Microsoft 365 with CRM systems, ERP systems, or other IT systems.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.- 2 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration or support.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services, including Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory), Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerShell and Azure Automation.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager.
- Experience with Microsoft security solutions, such as Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
