What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Credit & Collections Team Lead. This position falls under our lodging line of business and is in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of new customer credit applications, ensuring the progressive action collections procedures are followed, as well as the efficient and effective management of all aspects of the commission process (including reporting and collections). You will report directly to the Operations Manager and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.

Role Responsibilities
Coordinating the credit & collections functions to ensure accurate and timely completion of the following; client credit review and approval process, creating and modifying reports, tracking commission receivables, follow-up and collection of commission receivables, and payment application.
Monitoring the credit granting and updating process with the Sales Department
Interacting with clients, as necessary, regarding credit status and payment commitments
Maintaining a culture of excellent customer service related to hotels, clients and internal customers
Scheduling and maintaining staff to ensure that department work can be completed timely and accurately
Training, coaching, and supporting staff
Continuously improve performance through process improvement and technology use
Facilitating the flow of information needed by other departments and executive staff promptly
Implementing and consistently practicing the company Mission and Vision within the department
Encouraging continuing education as well as personal and professional growth of department staff members
Working effectively with other departments and staff to achieve company objectives
Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of credit and/or collections experience required
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage staff and processes
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and complete multiple tasks timely
Demonstrated ability to communicate and be a part of a team
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
