We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our Application Development team. The position is to provide real-world experience in the work force. The individual will support the IT staff in software, hardware and all other technological tasks and issues.
The IT Application Development Intern would be responsible for the development and upkeep of our client-facing applications. The two primary products you would work with would be our digital gift card delivery system as well as our Balance Inquiry infrastructure, both of which are highly visible products and some of our most utilized. The technology stacks for both products include HTML, CSS, React, Java and SQL. The developer will be exposed to all these languages to varying degrees. The developer will also be required to communicate frequently with clients as they coordinate on page design and functionality.
IT interns must have an interest in pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology or engineering. The intern must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-directed and ready to tackle new projects and ideas.
