Summary of Position:
Corporate Dining Concepts is looking for a CASHIER who is committed to providing excellent customer service, strong work ethic, and places high importance in honesty. The Cashier will scan customer selections to ensure all prices and quantities are accurate. Our Cashier will be familiar with payment methods including cash, cards, and checks. This role will also need to be familiar with our menu to answer customer questions about their selections.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Knowledge of all menu options to answer customer questions
- Manage cash bank, ensuring balance is accurate at the end of the shift
- Check in warehouse orders and put items away in a timely manner according to procedure
- Ensure adequate supplies are available for the shift, including ribbons, comp paper, cash drop envelopes, receipt paper, adequate change denominations, etc.
- Run necessary reports, complete comp, void, and tip sheets prior to the end of the shift
- Operate registers and perform general checkout functions
- Calculate and return change when required by the payment method
- Report any issues with equipment
- Provide positive customer service and handle customer complaints when needed
- Stay up to date on merchandise, promotions, advertisements, and product information
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Adhere to clients wants and needs and understand they are our top priority
- Help with other tasks as needed in order to help out the team and create a smooth service
Job Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and understand Instructions
- Have reliable transportation to and from the work location
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide easily and quickly
- Strong organizational skills, client relations, and hands-on leadership
- Possess EXCELLENT customer service skills and show willingness to always please our guests
- Proficient Cashier and Clerical Skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a TEAM
- Professional communication skills, verbal and written
- Paying attention to details and operating with high efficiency
- Able to stand for the entire shift
- Able and willing to lift up to 50lbs (as needed)
