JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Topline Performance Analysis supports the US/Canada Topline Leadership Team by providing analysis on factors contributing to revenue performance. The primary focus for this role is analysis related to demand generation and marketing activities for member and non member strategies, though may include related aspects of Revenue Management and Sales performance. The scope of the work may evolve as Marriott continues on the growth platform journey; and expands its commercial strategies to include non-rooms products. Working very closely with the continent Vice Presidents of Topline disciplines, the Senior Director of Topline Performance Analysis is responsible for defining the approaches for providing ongoing quantitative and qualitative analysis of hotel revenue trends across Marriott’s US/Canada managed and franchised portfolios, and leading a team of analysts who deliver this work. Key activities will include Quarterly Business Reviews and Monthly Portfolio Reviews, leading the analytical aspects of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting, and the annual budget process.
This leader will be responsible for defining and maintaining standards for the quality of analysis and the communication of analysis findings and recommendations. To accomplish this, he/she must possess outstanding communications, leadership, influencing, and analysis skills. In addition, he/she will need to create strong partnerships with senior leaders in multiple disciplines within the continent and at Headquarters.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
10 years of professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance in analytically focused positions in the travel industry.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and engage in analytics with practical applications to business needs.
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major.
Education and Experience Preferred
- 8 years of professional experience demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance in analytically-focused positions in the travel industry. is preferred.
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in a quantitative discipline (e.g. finance, operations research, economics, and statistics)
- Master’s degree with emphasis in a quantitative discipline or business.
- Understanding of revenue management systems (HPP, MARSHA, OneYield, etc.) and data sources (MRDW, PeopleSoft, SGR, etc.)
- Experience using Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite(Excel, PowerPoint, PowerAutomate, SharePoint) and Snowflake

Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $123,975.00 to $250,016.00 annually.
New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $150,011.00 to $275,021.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $123,975.00 to $275,021.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants. Employees will accrue 0.4616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
