What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President, Healthcare Financial Analysis position at Corporate?

Position Purpose: Oversee a team charged with coordinating and managing medical economics analysis, models, health outcome studies and related forecasting and actual results analysis related to the portfolio of activities focused on operating margin improvements, primarily focused on medical spend. Direct initiatives to develop innovative analytics, insights and solutions for medical cost drivers and network design/provider value based reimbursement models. Ensure timely and accurate contractual reporting.Direct and oversee best-value creation strategy by leveraging healthcare data to identify, design, and implement initiatives that improve the organization’s revenue, claims, and administrative expenseLead identification and facilitation of pilot program opportunities; assist with development of business proposals
Collaborate with and train functional areas in the use of business case return on investment measurement, developing a self-service culture that enables a broad base of support to initiative owners in their efforts to identify potential operating margin improvement initiatives
Oversee timely and accurate delivery of current program reporting requirements and/or requests
Partner with customer leadership to ensure highest levels of satisfaction with end products and servicesEducation/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Healthcare Administration, Finance or related field. Master’s degree preferred. 10 years of medical economics, financial analysis, financial modeling, statistical modeling, or quantitative modeling experience. Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff. Experience in business development preferred.
