Job Description
The Transportation Clerk will support operations through the loading, unloading, and delivery of materials between an offsite facility and the primary manufacturing plant. The Transportation Clerk will also perform tasks within both the offsite and primary warehouse including, but not limited to, receiving, material handling, stocking shelves, and delivering parts to manufacturing. This is a 5:30am - 4pm shift, offering $16/hour, DOE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Pack, load, and secure materials onto a flatbed trailer
· Safely transport materials to and from Nautique main plant.
· Coordinate delivery schedules with departmental leadership
· Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair of delivery vehicles
· Transact materials within ERP system
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
· High school diploma or GED
· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
· Experience operating a vehicle and pulling a trailer.
· Clean driving record and a valid license
· Experience operating a forklift
· Ability to read work orders and schedules
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.
· Must be able to wear proper safety equipment when necessary.
· Be able to bend at waist and stand for extended periods of time while performing job duties.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 75 lbs. on occasion.
· This is a safety sensitive position.
