Eligible for transfer or meet the following qualifications for a provisional appointment.
A Bachelor’s degree in Industries Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, and three years of post-degree engineering experience in assembly line development & manufacturing. This experience must include mechanical power presses, progressive dies, machining, fixture design, assembly, automation, mass finishing/coating metal products, or a combination of the above types of manufacturing areas.
Will be responsible for continuous improvement utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies as well as understanding the fundamentals of root cause analysis. Additional responsibilities will entail the use of CAD design/drafting activities. Candidate must also show competence in written communication, with a concentration on specification and bill of material creation.
