Maintenance Supervisor
Essentially, a Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems as well as equipment. Responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed.
Skills and Specifications
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to support production operations in a fast-paced environment
· Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic problems on all plant equipment
· Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed.
Hire and supervise tradesmen/ outside vendors during installations, repairs or maintenance
Secures estimates and cost quotes as needed
Primarily responsible for managing and updating the Hippo system
Use Hippo system to generate relevant data for reporting
Utilizing Hippo calendar for optimized workflow and resource planning.
Complete Hippo work orders in a timely manner to the highest quality standards
Develops and maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program using Hippo for tracking all equipment and machinery
Prepare maintenance schedules; allocates work and inspects work for completeness
Determines material, equipment and supplies needed when planning repairs or maintenance
Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety and policies/guidelines
Working knowledge of industrial refrigeration operations, boiler systems and water treatment/conditioning systems
Able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics and service manuals
Maintain accurate records for compliance
Maintain complete personal tool inventory necessary to perform job functions
