What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Manager position at Corsair?
Responsibilities
• Process/Manage multi-state payroll processing for exempt/nonexempt employees
• Prepare quarter-end/year-end data and schedules for external audits related to payroll area
• Ensure payroll area is in compliance with Sox
• Processed quarterly tax adjustments, Year-end payroll tax, and reporting compliance
• Complies with federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements
• 401k, flex spending processing/reporting with Payroll
• Annual W-2 processing
• Assist with 401K/worker comp audit, etc
• Respond to employee payroll –related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Work on Ad hoc projects
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 5 year experience in payroll management
- Experience in ADP Workforce Now
- Public company experience (good understanding of stock-related income payroll processing, tax withholding)
- Advanced excel skills (Pivot table, Vlookups)
- CPP preferred
- Detail oriented
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
