What are the responsibilities and job description for the Second Shift Loader/Driver position at CORT?
CORT Party Rental has been the premier event rental company in Washington State for 50 years. We provide everything from tenting, flooring, seating, linens, lighting, flatware, and more in order to turn any event into a memorable celebration.
We are looking for seasonal Second Shift Loader/Drivers to join our team in Everett , WA. Our season begins in the spring and runs through October, but we offer flexible seasonal end dates based on your availability. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for work for the summer. There are opportunities to transition to full-time positions after the season ends.
Pay: $17-$19/hr based on qualifications and experience. This position also receives an additional $1 per hour worked, Second Shift Differential Pay. A Seasonal Retention Bonus of up to $750.00 will be provided upon satisfactory completion of service.
Schedule: Average schedule varies anywhere from 40-60 hours/week with overtime pay available. Shifts typically begin at 3-4pm and end between 12-2am.
Responsibilities
A Day in the Life:
- Start and end your day at the CORT Party Rental Warehouse
- Load and unload equipment using printed truck loading reports
- Safely secure equipment using ropes and straps
- Move trucks to and from loading docks as needed using CORT truck Safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned by Second Shift Manager
Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Valid WA state driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Bonus if you have previous truck driving experience, but not required
- Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
