As a Senior Financial Analyst for CORT TSE, you will play an integral role in the development and monitoring of results to ensure CORT TSE succeeds in achieving its strategic goals. You will assist in the forecasting, planning, and reporting process including analyzing variance and trends to inform business decisions. You will work cross-functionally acting as an internal consultant with operational and sales leadership to understand the ins and outs of the business to best inform data-driven insight. To be successful in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, an interest in financial data systems and processes along with a desire for consistent personal development. Willingness to dive in head first while improving key technical skills is a must.
The salary for this role is $85,000-90,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Support Finance Director with Ad Hoc analysis and month-end reporting.
- Build financial/operations model & support the field with decision making.
- Use Excel to conduct Customer Segmentation and Revenue maximization and modeling.
- Conduct Sales Revenue Analysis on a regular basis.
- Communicate with District General Managers (DGMs) on discrepancies with dates and revenue; send quarterly reports to DGMs to review their district revenue.
- Use PeopleSoft queries to pull current and past show lists/revenue to manipulate and update data for sku and piece forecasting.
- Verify revenue amounts are estimated appropriately based on revenue type as well as prior years and percentage increase.
- Analyze and prepare monthly show rotation to support month and quarter end review.
- Responsible for year over year analysis and year over year comparison as well as current quarter to prior year quarter analysis.
- Use financial software to forecast budget to actuals comparison on a regular basis.
- Support Sales Team with revenue analysis and report on an as needed basis.
- Conduct analysis of large contractors event revenue.
- Responsible for event revenue forecasting as well as reporting on Top 10 show revenue on a quarterly basis.
- Act as a backup for Account Executive and CORT Furniture Rental Commissions.
- Act as a backup for President's Circle of Excellence analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Systems savvy - comfortable with data architectures, ERP systems, SQL strongly preferred
- Experience with data analysis, process automation, financial reporting, and financial analysis
- Experience in Adaptive Planning or other financial modeling system(s)
- Highly analytical and detail oriented with strong business acumen and ability to think critically
- Resourceful and independent problem solver
- Familiarity with rental, retail, or inventory driven industry
- Ability and interest to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
- Strong desire to help teammates develop and learn
