Cabinet Installer

Penski Staffing aka CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for a Cabinet Installer.

Hours are Monday - Friday; 7am to 3:45pm
Pay Rate: $16

We are looking for a qualified Carpenter and or cabinet installer to install metal
cabinets and other structures according to specifications into trailers and truck bodies.
The successful candidate will have great hand dexterity and a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and or welding is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Lay floorings, ensuring they are level.
• Assemble cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated.
• Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
• Ensure attention to detail.
• Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of equipment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements.
• Proactively communicate project concerns that may affect completion of the job to the appropriate person.

Core
Competencies

• Measure, cut, assemble, and join materials made of lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Lay subflooring. Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.
• Experience using all hand tools
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
• Physical strength and stamina
