MACHINE OPERATOR JOB SUMMARY:

MACHINE OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate production line equipment including packers, positive pumps, processors,
to mix and pack retail branded and private label products.
- Confirm production schedule and product specifications with Supervisor and set up
ingredient feeders and all other necessary equipment, set up labelers, installing heat
seal and any other necessary packaging, preparing packer for operation by sanitizing
equipment, turning on heaters and nitrogen, and any other necessary set up
adjustments.
- Confirm pH testing with Supervisor and assist him/her by releasing product from the
product.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work area between flavors.
- Inspect product for specification making any necessary adjustments to packer, fruit
- Inspect equipment on a routine basis and report any malfunctions or wear and tear.
MACHINE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical failures.
- Safe operation of powered industrial trucks with training.
- Reading, writing, and basic math competency
- Versatility in operating all equipment associated with packaging at its maximum capacity.
- Must have a High School Diploma.
MACHINE OPERATOR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent bending and lifting of weights up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent loading of cups into boxes (twisting wrist and gripping)
- Standing for long periods of time on cement floor
- Working in a wet environment.
- Frequent gripping and squeezing of hose handles.
- Exposure to a noisy environment.
