Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler
Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm
The Material Handler 1 is responsible for performing all Material Handling job functions within the Warehouse. Job description includes all Material Handling responsibilities for Manufacturing support, assisting in the Daily Cycle Count Program, attaining a forklift certification as well as assisting in department audits, special projects and additional tasks as required by management.
o Complete all assigned daily tasks
o Forklift Certification required.
o Pulls Materials for Manufacturing support in an accurate, timely manner and assists Supervisor with Department issues/material shortages. Assists co-workers to accomplish all daily tasks.
o Performs SAP transactions on a daily basis and assists co-workers in completing all necessary SAP functions.
o Assists in the daily Cycle Count Program. Assists in Internal/External Cycle Count Audits.
o Ensure compliance with Client policies and procedures, ethical practices and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
o Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of colleagues and management across organizational boundaries. Candidate must possess flexibility and ability to respond to constantly changing conditions and priorities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o Experience with ERP Systems required, SAP experience preferred.
o Material Handling experience in diagnostics or medical device fields preferred.
o Forklift operations required (Certification Training available).
o Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
o Microsoft Office skills required
o Required to handle temperature sensitive product in compliance under a Regulatory Environment
o Cross-Training Required
o High School/GED preferred. In absence of high school/GED, candidate should have 3 years(relevant Mfg exp) or 5 years overall experience.
