Unloader - 1st shift

CorTech Staffing is seeking aa Unloader for a Janesville, WI food production company.

Pay $14.75 per hour

1st Shift : 10am-done {8-10 hour shifts}

Job summary

Position runs UnLoader machine & Case Packer in a safe, efficient manner. They keep the operation of the machine continues by unjaming product and resetting machine. The operator will perform set up and monitoring of the case printer. They also keep quality aspect in mind as they are function the machine by checking for leaks, confirming date code and watching for damaged packaging. They need to understand any setup procedures and notify maintenance in a timely manner when there is ongoing down time. All scrap and downtime must be reported to supervisor / lead person ongoing throughout the shift. At the end of each shift the machine must be cleaned. Operator is responsible for removing all samples, & incubation samples per quality/ customer specifications.

The Unloader operator will also be responsible for cleaning the case packer and area floors, consisting of sweeping and scrubbing at end of shift and removing any scrap material. He will also wipe down the line and clean when necessary.

Perform set up and changeover of machines
Understand operation of Unloader & Case packer
Set up and monitor Case printer
Unjam product in a safe manner
Check product for leakage, and correct information
Complete all cleaning procedures
Report all maintenance issues
Report all downtime & turn in all information
Clean areas pertaining to Unloader & Case Packer
Assist Loader when necessary
Remove samples per quality/ customer specifications

Minimum requirement:
High school Education / mathematical / able to communicate clearly/ Read & Write clearly

Abilities required
Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time.
Must be able to push/ pull carts of 60 to 100 pound s of force
