Corteva Agriscience is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect. We are seeking an experienced and Enterprise Data Architect to join our team. As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will shape and execute our data strategy, with a focus on building a robust data mesh platform. Expertise with SAP data will be essential in guiding our organization towards innovative and efficient data solutions. Collaboration with data product owners, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and evolve architectures that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - What you will do to help us grow!
- Develop solutions and automation which enable federated computational governance from data capture to data product use.
- Develop reference architectures for the enterprise data domain.
- Develop solutions which accelerate self-service data platform capabilities.
- Assist data product owners with product roadmaps, application integrations, and remediate technical debt.
- Promote and foster a culture of data centric ownership within the business units.
- Design and execute data distribution framework, data streaming, vendor evaluation, cloud warehouse evaluation.
- Develop reference architectures for the enterprise data domain.
- Tailor data solutions to fit organizational requirements.
- Cultivate and promote a culture of data-centric ownership within various business units.
- Suggest innovative solutions based on new technologies and latest trends.
- Stay informed on initiatives across the industry and enterprise to help product owners and IT leadership effectively prioritize.
- Balance the investments with the risk, performance expectations to provide aa adequate system architecture.
- Select and manage a portfolio of data modeling tools to support the business needs.
- Define the data integrations points and approved interface (import/export) techniques.
- Create a data access layer that provides secure data access to role appropriate resources.
Qualifications
Experience and Education – What you'll bring to the table!
- Familiar with relational database management systems, particularly in Azure and AWS.
- Experienced with cloud compute and data lake architectures.
- Understanding of common programming languages.
- Strategic thinker capable of learning new technologies and drive innovation.
- Strong interpersonal communication and diplomacy skills, as well as a passion for leading.
- Mastery level technical experience, knowledge, and understanding of cloud, security, or process flow architecture.
- Experienced technologist with solid understanding of agile and lean methodologies, and the development process of cloud applications in both Azure and AWS.
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment.
- Ability to coordinate between cross-functional, global teams.
- Well organized and possess outstanding follow-through and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and lead a team of stakeholders from diverse disciplines.
