In this role, you are supervising, coordinating, and conducting the activities of our Neurodiagnostic services to ensure smooth operations and effective patient care according to established procedures. Supervises staff technologists who perform EEG test procedures, including serving as technical and training resource, and setting clinical standards. Maintains equipment in proper working order, troubleshoots equipment problems, and arranges for replacement or repair with appropriate vendor, in-house Biomedical Engineering, or third party Twenty-four hour/seven day a week responsibility. Works with company clinical leadership in the development and updating of training programs for personnel development; evaluate, organize and institute new methods, procedures or changes in existing methods; inform Clinical Directors of departmental problems and suggest improvements. Performs all duties inherent to managerial role.
Job Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide operational and clinical oversight of EEG Techs team
- Support and assist when needed with recruiting and interviewing prospective candidates
- Coordinates the training and facility orientation for new techs (staff)
- Staff scheduling
- Conducts regular clinical skills competencies
- Perform Video Routine EEGs, LTM setups and disconnects in accordance with national and company guidelines
- Functions independently to safely operate sophisticated medical equipment to record, download, review and analyze recorded EEG and other neurodiagnostic studies
- Monitors patients and recordings and recognizes EEG pathology when it occurs and responds with appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety
- Conducts weekly QA checks
- Remain discrete and sensitive to patient specific age, culture, gender, and medical conditions
- Travel between local facilities

Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years at a senior or management level EEG/Neurodiagnostic position
- Must currently possess and maintain R. EEGT certification through ABRET
- Must currently possess and maintain current American Heart CPR certification
- Ability to calculate figures such as 10/20 International System of electrode placement, equipment filter comparisons, time base calculations, including travel distances and procedure time as needed
- Ability to read analyze and interpret physician and/or nursing orders, patient documents ?and technical procedures
- Ability to write technical reports
- Experience working within rapidly changing environments
- Must hold a valid OH driver’s license
