What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at CorVel Brand?
The Operations Project Manager should be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organization, able to solve problems and improvise as needed, and organized to handle a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate is a natural coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail.
This role will work alongside CERIS Operations leadership and build cross functional relationships with the Sales/Account Management, IT and Product teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As an Operations Project Manager (PM) you will help operations with a variety of task including but not limited to new customers on-boarding, process changes, reporting requests, rush or special claim processing and other tasks as needed by operations leadership
- Assist the Operation Directors in developing, planning and coordinating operations activities
- Monitor inventory management and claim flow to alert operation leadership of any problems
- Ensure special high priority claims are complete within TAT or deadlines
- Work with implementation, account management, IT and operations to ensure new clients are launch successfully
- Help foster communication with operations manager, staff members, and clients to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proven organizational skills, including time management
- Project management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience is preferred
- Project management experience equivalent operational role
- Demonstrated success in managing projects
