Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, taking their orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties:
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information on specials and menu items
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, and specialty drinks
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell effectively
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems, OpenTable, or similar reservation software is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
