Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as psychotherapy, dance therapy, and addiction counseling
- Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to clients and their families
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in counseling
Experience:
- Familiarity with child and family counseling techniques
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field preferred
- Valid state licensure as an LWS, LPC, LPCC or LISW
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
