2024 Director of PD & Marketing Role Description

The Director of PD and Marketing leads the Product Development and Marketing team for CSIL and is responsible for all proactive product development focusing on the most impactful product collections that will drive business as well as managing brand equity, social media presence, CSIL collateral, marketing materials and booth content. The Director oversees all industry events in which we participate, such as Cosmoprof conferences and works with the team to ensure the events run smoothly. The Director also oversees the PD coordinator/manager and approves all PDR’s being created at the site as well as incoming from clients before Sales Orders are created to drive formulation. Additionally, the Director provides stewardship of the Private Label product offering and supports any required clinical testing of new or existing formulas that CSIL chooses to invest in claim support to boost sales. Furthermore, this role oversees marketing associates/marketing managers and their role in supporting the brand, professional solutions, social media, our collateral materials and all booth design, show presence.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of growth/development in associated roles
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
• Experience in marketing and/or product development and running a team
• Social media and B2B expertise
• Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
• Flexible approach to work, ability to pivot as needed
• Experience in canva, adobe programs, and fluent in MS Office
