A project manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of construction project management. As a key contributor, a project manager is responsible for coordinating resources, scheduling, planning, and executing construction projects with minimal supervision. A project manager ensures projects are executed efficiently within budget constraints, adhere to timelines, and maintain positive cash flow. Project manager position is pivotal in fostering customer satisfaction, prioritizing safety, and ensuring quality on all assigned projects.

Location: Jackson, WI

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

Employment Type: Direct hire; exempt


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and coordinate all project aspects, spanning varying levels of complexity from award to project completion. Develop project installation plans, manages them, and implement job procedures.
  2. Effectively translates and communicates project requirements from the customer to the project team and wider organization as and when required, and maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
  3. Create, implement, maintain, and oversee project schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring the execution of project timelines.
  4. Identify potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize their impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  5. Proactively communicate project schedules, project change proposals and related activities with customers striving to continuously enhance customer satisfaction.
  6. Coordinate the procurement of materials, supplies, and services necessary for the timely and cost-effective completion of projects within budget.
  7. Establish project milestones and analyzes costs, reviewing actual vs. estimated job costs to provide timely and accurate project cost reports. Identify reasons for low productivity or delays and adjust project plans and cost estimates as needed to meet financial goals.
  8. Manage the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contracts, including cost control, delivery fulfillment, and quality of service, addressing other customer requirements as they arise.
  9. Travel to job sites (by car or airplane) or other satellite offices, as requested or required.
  10. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.


Knowledge and Skill

  • Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to dynamic nature of the industry.
  • Customer-focused, consistently meeting customer needs and expectations.
  • Analytical thinker who logically addresses problems and finds solutions, even with limited information.
  • Flexible and capable of multitasking, adjusting project direction according to customer needs and deadlines.
  • Moderate to advanced construction project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: themed construction, architecture, structure, or landscape architecture/design.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands

  • Occasional requirements to walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach above shoulders, and move from place to place.
  • Regularly required to talk and listen and frequently required to sit and use hands to handle or feel.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Work Environment

  • Exposed to a typical office environment with a moderate noise level. Occasional trips to manufacturing areas may be required.
