Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager with a passion for hospitality and a strong background in restaurant floor operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the restaurant floor, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting our wine program, assisting with inventory management, staff training, and wine service.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate restaurant floor operations to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor front-of-house staff to deliver high-quality service and uphold Costa's service standards, including staff training on wine knowledge and service.
  • Participate in selling wine in service as needed
  • Assist wine team in managing inventory of wines and beverages, ensuring adequate stock levels and optimal product rotation.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff during service, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and coordinated food and beverage service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist in scheduling staff and managing labor costs to meet budgetary goals.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift.
  • Manage daily closing duties of property

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of wine and wine service techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • TIPS or similar certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
