Residential carpet contractor is searching for a well-organized, detail-oriented individual to provide office support to field and office personnel. Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) are necessary. College degree preferred. She or he must be willing to learn new skills, work on their own but also be able to work in tandem with the prospective teams as well as contribute to a positive job environment by being congenial and respectful of others.

The general areas of responsibility are:

  • Prepare estimates and proposals.
  • Assist with estimates and budgets.
  • Assist with cost analysis.
  • Schedule and monitor projects, through follow-up and completion.

The following attributes are necessary to succeed in this position:

  • Skilled in MS Office (including Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Analytical ability.
  • Provide neat and organized workpapers to support your estimates.
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Anticipate job needs and be proactive rather than reactive.
  • A sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with good verbal and writing skills.
  • Inquisitiveness - having a desire to learn.
  • Positive and productive interactions with clients and others.

  • Goal-oriented and willing to do what it takes to achieve production goals.

Salary based on experience and qualifications. We do offer a medical plan.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
