Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a licensed veterinary technician in Virginia with 1-3 years of experience.
• A strong communicator who’s confident around animals and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• A team player is eager to learn and contribute to our COTA team.

Preferred Qualifications

• A licensed veterinary technician in Virginia with 5 years of experience.
• A strong communicator who’s confident around animals and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• A team player is eager to learn and contribute to our COTA team.
• Proficiency in technical duties involved in supporting the veterinarian with procedures and surgeries, ensuring top-notch care.
• Confidence and experience in conducting lab tests and managing equipment, including crucial patient diagnostics.
• Experience in providing essential care during surgeries, including administering anesthesia and patient monitoring.
• Proficiency in dental radiography and prophylaxis, dental care, prepare medications, and administer treatments under veterinary supervision.
• A passion for educating pet owners, helping them fully understand the care and treatments their pets receive.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.35 - $28.35 per hour
