We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care, developing and implementing individual service plans, and helping individuals reach their goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Provide support to individuals in their homes and in the community.
  • Assist individuals with accessing community resources.
  • Monitor individuals’ progress and document changes in behavior or health.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Maintain a safe environment for individuals.
  • Provide transportation to appointments or activities.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift

Experience:

  • Caregiving: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In person
